Worms! Caterpillars! Butterflies!

Whew! We have been busy here in K-1 studying all kinds of creepy crawlies from around Vermont. What began as a study of the Monarch Butterfly has now emerged into an examination of Tomato Worms, various moths, and other insects that students have been bringing in. Thank you so much to all of the families who have taken time out of their busy days to gather these specimens for our classroom! Students are really enjoying taking the time to compare and contrast the life cycles of different specimens, it has been really important for us to notice how long it takes these creatures to change and that they are not all the same!
