Making Friends
Hello Everyone,
I hope these first couple of days were as wonderful for you as they were for us! This week we spent time getting to know each other and the school around us. We will continue this throughout the week.
This week we have had a theme of making new friends. We have been reading stories such as Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes and David Goes to School by David Shannon to help us understand all of these new rules and relationships.
Tonight or at some point this week it would be great if you could have a discussion with your child about friendships and school. (Not that you aren't already) Tell them about some of your friends and why they are an important part of your life. Or share some of your own first days of school stories.

Specials Schedule

I hope you are all enjoying the final days of summer, it is gorgeous out there. I wanted to share the specials schedule with you all. Please note that we will have gym on the very first day, so be sure to wear some gear you can move in! I can't wait to see you all, only four more days!

Lemonade Meet and Greet
Hello Everyone!
It was so wonderful to meet so many of you today. I know we are going to have a great year together. We had a lot of fun making new friends, doing art, playing with our car garage, and making patterns.
